DESIGN 10 In the context of Vienna Design Week 2007 the Imperial Furniture Museum, one of the world's most significant furniture collections, invited 10 young, established, Austrian designers to oppose their own design to one of their collector's items. Walking Chair was assigned to define the artistic setting of the exhibition. A specially made carpet, which was installed from floor to ceiling throughout the whole exhibition area, not only broke up the entire room, but also served as a perfect information carrier, since titles and object descriptions were printed on it. Given that every designer could take his or her carpet section, the disposal problem was resolved in a simple manner.
