WALKING CHAIR DESIGN STUDIO – Architecture
Architecture is art! Building and designing in a three-dimensional space is always determined by light first – thus first off by the sun. We are frequently asked what the essentials of interior design are. Our answer: the light. What is most important in buildings? We also respond: the light. Because as we protect ourselves from sun and weather (but also use them) we design the rooms with the light's help first, and let the relationship between light and dark create the room's atmosphere. Not until then will additional elements for the particular occupancy — like office, living, exhibition, sales room etc. — be defined. We say putting everything in a favorable light is art. Before anything else, architecture needs light!
