Without our first client, Marien Pharmacy, and its owner Karin Simonitsch, Walking Chair might not exist. We met Karin on the day of our formation and also got our first job to create a typeface (although she had to wait 5 years for its realization). That was the beginning of a now already 10-year long close collaboration which created various interesting projects: In 2006, Aspirin, the corporate typeface of Marien Pharmacy, was created.

Fidel developed the font out of the 16th century blackletter from the book Confect Büchlin vnd Hauß Apoteck, written in 1544 by Walter Ryff. This compendium was not yet created by typesetting, but printed page by page with woodcarvings. In writing history Aspirin is something absolutely special: The first synthesis of blackletter and a Sans–Serif linear antiqua or constructed grotesque.

To comply with the expansion of the pharmacy in 2008, Walking Chair developed a new shelving system and the Intimate Zone – a type of tent in which health problems could be discussed. The wholesale area was also rearranged and the night service room was remodeled to be functional, cozy and space-saving, with a folding bed, mirror and TV. Furthermore, the communications design and packaging design were redeveloped to give give the pharmacy a modern, fresh and contemporary appearance. Walking Chair designed logos and icons, a color guide system, promotional merchandise (e. g. “Xundheits Packerl”) and packaging design for the store-brand drugs and products like the perfume of the Marien Pharmacy, the 7 carat band-aid and the Marien Pharmacy's candy: Marie Citron, Marie Menthe and Marie Coeur.

Lastly, a new lighting design was developed in this collaboration – Sister Blister. The designers developed new lighting object and lampshades made of waste of the the blister packaging. Each of these lamps is unique and lovingly made by hand.
